Andrew Rench was born in Germany in 1732.  In 1760, he married Elizabeth.  During the American Revolution, he was a member of the Committee of Safety and was commissioned Lieutenant Colonel in the Maryland Militia.  Andrew Rench died October 7, 1792, at Washington County, Maryland.
