William Randle was born at Brunswick County, Virginia.   He was a Lieutenant in the Brunswick County, Virginia, Militia.  He married Lucy Simms.  Their son, Petyon, was born at Montgomery County, North Carolina, in 1768.  William's death was noted after the year 1790.
