In October-December 1780 was in Capt. Morddcaks Clark's Company; Colonel Holmes Regiment and was in the battle of "Cowpens". Following that service he was under Capt Bakerstaff and Colonels Cleveland and Williams and served 6 months under Washington.

Patriot biographies are to be written in complete sentences, follow the established rules of grammar, syntax and punctuation, be free of typographical errors, and follow a narrative format.
