Reverand Joseph Powell served during 1778 as a chaplain (Chp.) in Captain Patton's (11th, PA) Continental regt.; and, he had been appointed as a full time Pastor of the Tonoloway Baptist Church on Buck Valley Road, (Route 484) during 1775. Gravesite has birth at Bethelem/Northampton/PA
