Peter Perrine was born 7 Jul 1756 in Somerset Co, New Jersey, and died 14 Sep 1845 in Eldersville, Washington Co, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Peter Perrine of Staten Island, who after his marriage to an unknown spouse moved to New Jersey.

Peter Perrine (1756-1845) enlisted and served as a Private with the New Jersey Troops (Military Service from May 1776 to 1781. He served under Capts. Babcock, Hall, Tunison, Stryker; Cols. Frelinghuysen, Taylor, Van Nosdell, Sebring; also Lt Lane, Teamster, Capt Stryker, Gen Furman.

On 6 Mar 1790, Peter Perrine married Sarah Harris who was born 29 Aug 1764 at Somerset, NJ and died 18 Mar 1857 at Washington Co, PA. They had the following children:

i. Jemima Perrine born 1788 in New Jersey, died after 1846 Steubenville, Jefferson, OH. Jemima married Jacob Arnold of NJ.
ii. Amy Perrine born 1790 at Hoboken, Hudson, NJ, married Samuel Cole of PA.
iii. Catherine Perrine born 1793 at New Jersey, married Obed Ritchey of PA.
iv. Peter Perrine born 18 Jul 1792 Eldersville, Washington, Co, PA, died 29 Apr 1829. Peter married Rebecca Marquis.
v. Stephen Perrine born 1795 Eldersville, Washington Co, PA, died 1860 Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. Stephen married Margaret Bunting.
vi. Nicholas Perrine born 1797 Eldersville, Washington, PA
vii. Benjamin Perrine born 1800 Eldersville, Washington Co, PA, died Harmons Creek, Washington Co, PA. Benjamin married Sarah Criss.
viii. Isaac Perrine born 20 Apr 1803 Eldersville, Washington Co, PA, died 5 Dec 1869 at Cross Creek, Washington Co, PA. Isaac married Margaret Irwin.
iv. James Perrine born abt 1804 Eldersville, Washington Co, PA, died at Wooster, Wayne Co, OH.
