He enlisted April 3, 1777 and served as a Pvt in 6th Continental Line; 3d class Northampton Co, Capt Stohler's Company, Vol 8, p 227. He married Elizabeth Everett in 1802, a daughter of Samuel Everett; Children: Charles. He migrated from Lynn Twp, Northampton Co, PA; and located in Canfield, Ohio, later moved to Liberty Twp.
