"Ephraim was allotted a pension on his application executed 12 Sep 1833, and was then residing in Stockholm, St. Lawrence County, NY. His Pension Certificate #27722, issued 8 October 1834, at a rate of $51.66 per annum, was commenced 4 March 1831, per the Act of 7 June 1832, New York Agency. The arrears of the pension covering the period from 4 March 1841 to 19 October 1841 was paid to the Mechanics & Farmers Bank, Albany, Albany County, NY, on 10 February 1842, to Attorney Calvin T. Hubbard, attorney for Moses Knapp, administrator of the estate of Ephraim Knapp, Sr".

Patriot biographies are to be written in complete sentences, follow the established rules of grammar, syntax and punctuation, be free of typographical errors, and follow a narrative format.
