James McAfee and his wife Agnes "Nancy" Clark McAfee are buried here. There are Revolutionary War plaques and SAR Markers for James and his brother Robert McAfee. Robert died in New Orleans after being shot by Bandits

Robert McAfee, Sr., born 10 July 1745, Octoraro Creek, Lancaster Co., Pennsylvania. He died 10 May 1795 in New Orleans, Jefferson Co., Louisiana. Robert was severely injured during an argument and attempted robbery. Robert married Anne McCoun, 10 Dec 1766 in Virginia. Anne was born 1 August 1745 in Ireland. Sh d1e died in 1794 in Mercer Co., Kentucky. Robert was the son of James McAfee who was born 17 October 1707 in Belfast, County Armaugh, Ireland and died in 1785 at Catawba Creek, Augusta Co., Virginia. His mother was Jane McMichael, born in 1710, Belfast, County Armaugh, Ireland and died in 1783 at Salt River, Mercer Co., Kentucky. Robert along with his brothers were with George Rogers Clark in 1780 at the Battle of Pique.
