John Thomas McCall was born 21 March 1726 at Glascow, Scotland. He married Jane Young about 1763. John served as a private in the Revolution as a resident of York County in the 7^th Pennsylvania Regiment under Captain William Alexander and Colonel William Irving. McCall’s family settled in Washington County, Pennsylvania. John and Jane were the parents of John, Alexander and others. John died 15 March 1810 and was laid to rest in the Oak Spring Cemetery at Canonsburg, Washington County, Pennsylvania.
