  • Go through the cemetery gates on Meeting Street and continue on Meeting Street into the circle near the western portion of the cemetery. Go around the circle and exit at the last road (Wyly Ave) before coming back to Meeting St. Go down Wyly Ave until in the open area. To the right (west) next to the road, is a large rectangular plot with a brick border. Immediately behind this plot are more graves and another brick border. Follow along this brick border to find the crypt of James Martin. The site has a low brick crypt with a large slab on top

Directions to Cemetery / Gravesite:

From the intersection of Broad St (Hwy 601/521) and DeKalb St (Hwy 1) in Camden, SC, take Broad St south for roughly .85 miles to Meeting Street on the right. Take Meeting St for roughly 1/4 miles to the main cemetery gate
