Christopher Mason, Junior was a grandson of a Colonial Governor of Rhode Island, Joseph Jenks.

Christopher was born in Swansea, MA on 22 Oct 1737 and married on 15 Nov 1758 to Ann Chase.

Christopher was commissioned as Adjutant in the First Regiment of Bristol County Militia. In 1775, he was elected one of the selectmen of Swansea and from that time until his death was in public office of some sort.

He died on 13 Jul 1805 and is buried in the family plot in Swansea.
