  1. Private, served under Capts Nagel, David Harris, William Wilson and Col Hand, James Chambers, in the 1st PA Continental Line, May 17, 1776 for 2 years
  2. Fought at Battles of Long Island, White Plans, and Valley Forge
  3. On May 10, 1780, elected as Ensign in a company of Militia, Berks County PA
  4. Paid Supply Tax, 1781
