Christopher Lobingier was born in Lancaster County PA during Oct 1741. He married Elizabeth Mueller (1743-1815) in Lancaster County during July 1766. Together they had seven children. During the Revolutionary War he preformed patriotic service as a Pennsylvania delegate to the 1776 State Convention. He served as a private, a scout and Ranger (PA) Militia with Col John Perry. Later he was elevated to rank of Major. He was with the Ranger of the Frontiers from 1778 to 1783. He died on Independence Day on 4 Jul 1798, and buried in Union Cemetery, Westmoreland City, Westmoreland County, PA.
