Born on March 16, 1741 in Frederick County, Virginia. He served as Captain of Militia Yohogania County, VA ; also served in the Continental Service in Washington County, PA. He married Cathren __; children: John Isaac b. 1767, Henry b. 1769, Mary Nancy b. 1772, Catherine b. 1776, Zephania b. 1781 and David 1802. He died at age 65 on February 21, 1807 in Warren County, OH and buried in Ft. Ancient Hill Top Cemetery, Washington Twp. Warren County, OH. Cemetery Notes: The “Bethel Baptist Church” was established in May, 1810 by Nathaniel & Catherine (Lee) Luce, and 15 other persons. Nathaniel & Catherine Luce were later buried in “Luce row” of this cemetery. Located at 670 N. State Route 48, Lebanon, Ohio 45036. Patriot biographies are to be written in complete sentences, follow the established rules of grammar, syntax and punctuation, be free of typographical errors, and follow a narrative format.
