Samuel Lee son of Richard, Jr. and Experience Millard (Richard and John) was born 25 July 1734 in Rehoboth, Mass. and died 11 April 1811

Samuel married Hannah Briggs daughter of Thomas of Cumberland, R.I. on 3 March 1760 in Cumberland. They had 7 children: Richard, Samuel, Bethiah, Patience, George, Hannah and Zilpha. Richard was born in Cumberland, R.I. and the rest were born in Rehoboth, Mass.

Samuel served for 12 days as a Private in Capt. Sylvanus Martians Company and marched from Rehoboth to Bristol, R.I. on the alarm of December 8, 1776. Samuel again served under Capt. Martin from September 29, 1777 to October 30, 1777 at Tiverton, R.I. His DAR Ancestor # is A068726
