Author: K. Scott Collins

Thomas Landrum    b. 10/6/1759    d. 4/13/1833    (OGLETHORPE COUNTY, GEORGIA)

A native of Orange County, Virginia, he enlisted there on February 23, 1778 as a private in under Captains Burnley and Lipscomb and Colonels Heath, Parker, and Morgan. He was in the 1st, 3rd, 5th, and 7th Regiments of the Virginia State Troops. In 1803, he moved to Oglethorpe County where he received a pension for his services. 

Buried: Landrum Family Cemetery.
