The cemetery is located on the northwest corner of the intersection of Colerain Avenue and Hoffner Street with an entrance at 4003 Colerain Avenue. 




Author: Michael J. Blum
Born in 1757, New Jersey. He enlisted at Rahway, New jersey, in January 1776 in Captain Niel’s company of Artillery. He was in the battle of Trenton, December 27, 1776; at Brandywine, Princeton, Monmouth, and others ( Short Hills, Springfield New Jersey June 23, 1780; Germantown Pennsylvania, October 4, 1777).
He Died on September 30, 1827, of “bilious fever” in Mill Creek Twp., Hamilton County, Ohio. His remains were moved from Roll Cemetery, in Cummingsville. “[Oliver Kelly departed this life September 30th 1827, 70 years, 3months, and 21 days….Calls me to his arms and cheerfully I go. To all things…now I bid farewell…here below.” Buried in Wesleyan Cemetery (Colerain Ave. at Hoffner St.); Section P, lot 54, Grave 11. Stone broken.

His wife was Jane Morris. He settled in Mill Creek Township, Hamilton County, Ohio, before March 20, 1818, when he applied for a pension. In December 1820 he was residing in a suburb of Cincinnati, Ohio, (Kelly settled in West Cummingsville) aged 64 years. Mrs. David Peters of College Hill was his descendant.
