Nehemiah Kellogg (1752 – 1807), enlisted on 8 July 1777 in Capt. Ephraim Fitch’s Company, Col. Ashley’s Regt. In Berkshire County, Massachusetts. Nehemiah served 19 days and was discharged 27 July 1775, mileage home (110) miles) allowed.

Nehemiah Kellogg, the son of Stephen Kellogg and Mindwell Belden, was born 14 October 1752 at Sheffield, Berkshire County, Massachusetts. Nehemiah Kellogg married Hannah Marble, the daughter of Joseph Marble P-332399 and Susannah Butler, born 16 Dec 1751 at Sheffield, Berkshire County, Massachusetts.

Nehemiah Kellogg was born in the old Bay State, and had several brothers in the Revolutionary Army. During his earlier years he was a tiller of the soil, and later carried on a wagon shop and bought horses for ship ment to New York City. He died in the Empire State when quite advanced in years and his wife also lived to be quite aged.

Aaron married Janette Minor born 15 January 1783 in Connecticut and died 1 Feb 1851 at East Bloomfield, Ontario County, New York.  The couple are buried in Dibble Cemetery, East Bloomfield, Ontario County, New York, (Tombstone photos at Findagrave.com).

2) *Martin Marble Kellogg born 1780 at Sheffield, Berkshire County, Massachusetts and died April 1861 at Humboldt County, California. Martin Kellogg married Nancy Sweet.

3) *Clarissa Kellogg born 28 Jun 1783 at Sheffield, Berkshire County, Massachusetts and died 17 November 1856 at Grundy County, Missouri. Clarissa Kellogg married Truman Hart, the son of Elisha Hart and Hanna Bunk, born 24 August 1781 at Farmington, Hartford County, Connecticut and died 2 April 1860 at Grundy County, Missouri. The couple are buried at Coon Creek Cemetery, Grundy County, Missouri, (tombstone photos at Findagrave.com).

4) * Ithamer Kellogg born 1787 at Sheffield, Berkshire County, Massachusetts and died May 1847 at Rochester, Monroe County, New York. Ithamer married Nancy Jane Adams who died in 1844 at Rochester, Monroe County, New York. The couple are buried at Mount Hope Cemetery, Rochester, Monroe County, New York (Findagrave.com).

5) *Hannah born 10 Oct 1787 at Sheffield, Berkshire County, Massachusetts and died 03 Jul 1825 at West Bloomfield, Ontario County, New York, married 01 Jan 1804 in Connecticut to Daniel Holmes born 15 Oct 1781 in Massachusetts and died 25 Nov 1855 at Allens Hill, Ontario County, New York. Hannah Marble Holmes is buried at Allens Hill Cemetery, Richmond, Ontario County, New York.

6) *James Glover Kellogg born 17 May 1792 at Berkshire, Berkshire County, Massachusetts and died 20 February 1872 at Penfield, Calhoun County, Michigan. About 1816, James G. Kellogg married Sarah “Sally” Cheeseman, the daughter of Ezekiel Cheeseman and Athalia Silcox, born 25 Jan 1796 at South Amboy, Middlesex County, New Jersey and died 13 Jun 1851 at Penfield, Calhoun County, Michigan. The couple are buried at Oak Hill Cemetery, Battle Creek, Calhoun County, Michigan (Findagrave.com).
