The cemetery is located about 1300 feet north of Stumpf Road (Township Road 180) about 0.1 miles north of its intersection with Lutz Road.

John Judy, whose name was Americanized, was born Johannes Tschudi Jr. He was born on 2 February 1756 in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, the son of Johannes Sr. and Mary Magdalena (Schafner) Tschudi.
John was married twice, but only the first names of his wives are known. He first married Abalina [surname undetermined] in 1788. After her death in 1810, he married Charity [surname indetermined]. He had nine known children with his first wife.
Simon was born on 7 May 1782 and married 1) Catherine Fogler and 2) Ann Nancy Schearer.
Catherine was born on 3 June 1784 and married John Heinrich Fogler
Sarah was born on 27 March 1785 and married Samuel Morecraft
Peter was born on 10 March 1796 and married Rebecca Betz
Elizabeth was born on 12 March 1800 and married Peter Haynes
Jacob was born on 11 November 1800 and died on 21 January 1819.
Christina was born on 4 January 1801 and married Peter Wolf
Albert was born on 12 June 1802 and died young.
Daniel was born on 15 September 1805 and died young.
John served as a Private in the Pennsylvania Troops for two months in the fall of 1777 in Captain Jacob Shartel’s company, Colonel Balser Gheer’s Regiment. He also served for two months in the fall of 1778 in Captain Francis Umpenhacker’s company, of Colonel Balser Gheer’s Regiment. His third tour was another two months in the fall of 1779 and 1780 in Colonel Michael Lindemuth’s Regiment, followed by two months in the fall of 1781 in Captain Henry Krause’s Company of Colonel Michael Lindemuth’s Regiment.
He came to Pickaway County in 1803 or 1805 and settled in Section 28 of Saltcreek Township in 1805. His wife and two sons died there and he then moved to the southeast quarter of section 12 where he died.
He commenced his military pension on 18 April 1833. His grave card states he fought in the War of 1812 also.
The Patriot died on 20 May 1834 in Pickaway County, Ohio, and was buried in the Stumpf Cemetery.
