Death: 02 Nov 1810 Weston / Middlesex / MA

Qualifying Service Description:
  1. Anthony Jones, Sr, first enlisted as a private on April 19, 1775 on Lieutenant Samuel Bartlett's Company, which marched from Ashfield at the Lexington Alarm: served 5 days
  2. Enlisted as a private in Capt Ebenezer Webber's Company, in Colonel John Fellow's Regiment, April 27, 1775, served 3 months and 11 days; went to Quebec on the fatal expedition
  3. Was taken prisoner, December 3rd, 1775
  4. Lieutenant Aphraim Jenning's Company, Colonel David Field's Hampshire County Regiment, on an expedition to the North Woods service at Bennington. Enlisted August 17, 1777 again in the above Company, but in Regiment of Colonel David Wells. Discharged October 18, 1777

Patriot biographies must be the original work of the author, and work submitted must not belong to another person or group, in observance with copyright law. Patriot biographies are to be written in complete sentences, follow the established rules of grammar, syntax and punctuation, be free of typographical errors, and follow a narrative format.
