Born December 15, 1741 at Hartford, Connecticut. He was a Connecticut private and also manufactured supplies for cannons.  He married Elizabeth Barker (1760-1838); children: David, William, Anna, Elizabeth, Maria, Henry, Chester and Mary b. 1798.  He died July 18, 1839 and was buried at Mound Hill Cemetery, Plot- 2S 166-1, East Main Street, Seville, Medina County, Ohio 44273.  References:  SAR Patriot Index Edition III (CD: PP2210, Progeny Publ., 2002) plus data to 2004.  The official roster of the soldiers of the American Revolution who lived In the state of Ohio compiled by Mrs. Orville D. Dailey. [S.I.]  Daughters of the American Revolution of Ohio, 1938. Vol. 3.  SAR Ancestor # P-185314.  Has an obelisk monument with his wife Elizabeth.
