This small cemetery is situated on private land, north of SR40, east of Pleasant Chapel Rd. Please do not trespass. The owner is very kind to allow a group of researchers from Licking County Genealogical Society and descendants with loved ones buried there, to visit. Please set up a time and obtain permission before coming. Contact members of Licking Co. Gen Society, they can set up the visit with land owner.
Born December 17, 1749 at Rock Creek, Prince George's County, Maryland. He was a Virginia private in Captain John Baldwin's Company, Colonel Pendleton's Regiment of Militia for six months. He also served four months in Captain Henry Ambrose's Company of Colonel John Morrow's Regiment of the Virginia Militia. He marched with General McIntosh's Expedition to Indian Country in order to erect Fort McIntosh and Fort Laurens. He married Hannah Beard (1758-1836); children: James b. 1781, Hannah, Jane and Madison. He received a Revolutionary War Pension at *S16157. He died August 25, 1836 at Franklin Township, Licking County, Ohio and was buried at Hupp-Haskinson Cemetery, Linnville, Licking County, Ohio 43056. Patriot biographies are to be written in complete sentences, follow the established rules of grammar, syntax and punctuation, be free of typographical errors, and follow a narrative format.
