Qualifying Service Description:
  1. Pvt in Capt Abel Westfalls Company of the 8th VA Regt under Colonel Abraham Bowman
  2. Enlisted for a term of two years from May 1776 till April 10, 1778
  3. Suffered thru the winter at Valley Forge with the Bde under command of Brig Gen Charles Scott
  4. Rendered Material Aid

Patriot biographies are to be written in complete sentences, follow the established rules of grammar, syntax and punctuation, be free of typographical errors, and follow a narrative format.
