Henry Hooper was born 1759 in Hoopers Island, Dorchester Co., MD. He married Margaret Creighton (b. 1767 - d. 23 Jul 1816) in Abt. 1785. They had: Mary "Polly" Hooper (1793-1881) m. Benjamin Phillips (b. 21 Feb 1797 - d. 1854) on 9 Jan 1822 in Dorchester Co., MD. He died 10 Jul 1820 in Hoopers Island, Dorchester Co., MD. His service was as a Signer of the Oath of Allegiance in Dorchester County, Maryland in 1778.
