Born September 9, 1764 at Long Island, New York.  He was a New Jersey private in Captain Ward's Company.  His wife's name was not known.  Child: James.  He died March 25, 1840 and was buried at Roselawn Cemetery, also known as Euphemia Cemetery, Section 1 - Row 29 - Grave 4 at Lewisburg, Preble County, Ohio 45338.  References:  SAR Patriot Index Edition III (CD: PP2210, Progeny Publ., 2002) plus data to 2004.   Revolutionary War Pension *S4405.  DAR# A057483.  SAR Ancestor # P-184261.  Has a tombstone.  Cemetery number #-43008.  Find-a-Grave Memorial #-24386737.
