  1. Mustered into the county militia, Colonel Ely's regt., Capt Elijah Robin's co., billeting Roll raised in CT during, Alarm 15 June, 1777
  2. Civil Service Tythingman, Chatham, 1776
  3. Private in Capt Elijah Robin's co.; Colonel Ely's [Middlesex Co, (CT) Militia] regt., billeted on June 15, 1777; marched from home on Jul 22, same yr., afterward, he was discharged
