HARBINSON, ROBERT, (Preble County)         [39.7411003 -84.6461029]

Born in 1758 at Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.  He served in the Revolutionary War in 1775 as a private in the Captain Leatch's Company in the regiment commanded by Colonel Hand in the Pennsylvania Line.  The next service he rendered was as a volunteer under Captain Christy, and marched in his company on a campaign under General Hahn against the Indians.  He married Sallie James; children: Andrew, Elizabeth b. 1800 and John.  He received a Revolutionary War Pension for his service, March 4, 1831, aged 76 years, at *S18434.  His annual allowance was $56.67.  He died in 1837 at Eaton, Preble County, Ohio, and was buried at Mound Hill Cemetery, Preble County, Ohio  45320.  References:  Roster of Revolutionary War soldiers buried in Ohio.  Wilbur R. Patriot biographies are to be written in complete sentences, follow the established rules of grammar, syntax and punctuation, be free of typographical errors, and follow a narrative format.
