The JAMES GRIMES, SR. FAMILY CEMETERY is located at end of drive at 6722 Athens-Boonesboro Road behind the James Grimes, Sr. house (built about 1820). The cemetery is about 1000 feet east of the house in a grove of trees. There is only 5 known graves with markers. Death dates from 1828 to 1855
