Crenshaw-Finch Cemetery is 11 miles NE of Newberry in Sumter National Forest. From US 176 and Mt. Bethel- Garmany Rd which intersects with Mollys Rock Road going east. Go 0.85 mile on Mollys Rock Road to closed road on right. Walk one-quarter mile down this closed road to cemetery. Note path splits at about 0.2 mile, take left path up hill. Right side goes down

William Gilreath was born in 1730 in Butte County, North Carolina, and died May 6, 1795 in Newberry, Newberry County, South Carolina.

He married Mary Arrington. His parents were George Gilreath and Mary Murray.

William and Mary had the following children: John, William, Alexander, Nancy, Sarah, George, Mary, Nathaniel, and Henry.

William was appointed Constable in Wilkes County, North Carolina.
