Edward Garrett

Edward Garrett's birth is recorded in 1733 at Fairfax County, Virginia, however; Fairfax County was formed in 1742 from Prince William and Loudoun Counties (Marriage Records in the Virginia State Library: A Researcher's Guide published by John Vogt and T. William Kethley, Jr.; Fairfax County pg. 53; Loudoun County, pg. 87).

Edward Garrett married Anne West Owsley (1744-1823) 2 June 1759 atLoudoun County Virginia.  Their children are John Garrett (born 7 June 1762, Loudoun County, Virginia; died 1844 Laurens County, South Carolina; Jesse; Stephen; Hosea; Elizabeth; Mary; Anna; and Irene.
