Springbank is an active cemetery on route 104 in Ross County. It is well cared for. Close to the Ross and Pickaway County line, just beyond the little community of Yellowbud. The cemetery is located in Union Township, Ross County, Ohio




Author: Dr. Michael Bernard Gunn

Born on May 11, 1766 in Baltimore County, Maryland, a son of Mary (1738-1812). He served as a private in the Maryland Militia. He became a surveyor and helped lay out the City of Chillicothe. He served in Legislature and was veteran of the War of 1812 (Colonel). He married Miranda Gowings (1781-1817); children: Mary Ann, Matilda and Minerva C. b. 1812. They came to the Chillicothe area in 1797. He died on December 27, 1841 in Union Township, Ross County, Ohio and was buried in the Springbank Cemetery located on Rt. 104 in Union Township. Ross County, Ohio. This was part of his farm. Cemetery Notes: Springbank is an active cemetery on route 104 in Ross County. It is well cared for.
