- Inscription: In Memory of Capt. Simeon Edgerton who died August 27th 1809 AE. 77 years & 5 months: leaving a widow 12 Children, 79 Grand & 15 great Grand Children. He was a kind husband, a tender father, usefull in society & a lover of peace & good order yet he is gone
