David Enoch a resident of Lancaster County, PA, and he signed an Oath of Allegiance during 1778; source, appl. for NSSAR Nat'l. No.186377 approved Feb 21, 2013. In 1754, the ownership of the Fayette County, PA area was in dispute, when Americans allied with British during the French & Indian War to improve supply roads between. Virginia and Fort Necessity. A border dispute between. Virginia's Dist. of West Augusta & PA's Westmoreland Co., was also in dispute retarding population.
