Qualifying Service Description:

SAR Grave Registry form submitted on Jun 6, 1972 by Herbert S Hodsdon, resident of West Buxton, Maine, (ME). This compiler for NSSAR wrote that a US Mil., Dept. of Veterans Affairs, Burial Branch headstone was present at Gershom Cirtis es grave located in the s/e section of Morse (Hanover Center) cemetery. Headstone inscribed, son of Gershom and Eliz. Curtis, he died Dec. 15, 1779 aged 15 days
