  1. Pvt under Lt. Kelly, in Captains Heth's and Springer's Companies, Colonel John Gibson's 13th Regt, Colonel Brodhead, Gens' Hand, Mcintosh
  2. Enlisted in Westmoreland County, PA, in 1777 at age of 17 and served 3 years as a Pvt
  3. Served in Tuscarawas, Squaw, and Brodhead's campaigns
  4. Pensioned for service
