Author: Michael B. Gunn
Born in 1757, in Burlington County, New Jersey, William Broderick served as a Minuteman in the Monmouth County Militia. He also served as a Corporal in the Indian campaign, 1777, and was a Sergeant in the Battle of Springfield in Captain Cox’s Company, 3rd Regiment where he was wounded on June 23, 1780. He Married Esther __; children: Paul, Isaac and Sarah. He died on July 11, 1815 in St Clairsville, Ohio and is buried at the Crabapple Church Cemetery, Belmont County, Ohio.
