John Francis Bourne, my GGGG Grandfather (Ancestor # A012578) (July 5, 1727 - July 28, 1803) War Dept. Records -
He was a corporal in Captain Moses Hawkins Company.
He was born in Orange County Virginia and died in Jessamine, Kentucky.
He was a farmer after the Revolutionary War. He married Frances Christopher on January 2, 1758.
His son was Rev. Ambrose Dudley Bourne who is included in the Book, "The Life and Times of Elder Reuben Ross" by James Ross. His grandson, Dudley Bourne was a tobacco inspector and farmer in Montgomery County.

The biography should discuss the qualifying service (military, patriotic, civil) of the patriot ancestor, where the service was rendered, whether this was a specific state or Continental service, as well as significant events (as determined by the author) of the patriot's life.
