Author: Mr. Joshua Shawn Wilberger
Son of Robert (1730-1775) & Mary (Marshall) (1737-1814) Bolling. British General Philips died at Petersburg in home of first wife, Mary, and she and four daughters were made prisoners. Soldier applied for pension on 20 Sep 1832 in Petersburg aged 73 (S6689). Will dated 7 SEP 1789, probated 21 Feb 1791. Wardell indicates he died c. 1790 Dinwiddie Co. Widow had bounty land warrant in 1817 and died Aug 1832. Children applied for pension in 1850 (R282)
