Francis is a witness for the Will of Andrew Berner on September 26, 1814, page 5.332.

Born at 4555 Main Street, "next but one below Jefferson Street, now Collum Street", where Gottfried and Phillippena were living at the time. (Keyser. "History of Old Germantown")

Received as a member of the Market Square Church on April 13, 1770 at age 16. (Market Square Church records)

Member of Captain James Irwin's 1st Co., 7th Battalion (PA Archives Vol 1, Series 6)

Member of Geradus Schlatter's Co. of Associators of Chestnut Hill during the Revolution (History of the Bringhurst Family, Germantown Historical Society).

In 1792 he purchased 3 acres on the Germantown Great Road, next to a lane by Bristol Street (near Joseph Miller's land,the brother of his wife Susanna) for 3 pounds, 10 shillings (Deed Book EE 4, pg 352)

This is the entire purpose of a patriot's biography.
