George Blouse was born about 1761 in Pennsylvania and married his wife, Mary Magdalena Neff, sometime before 1779. They had six known sons (including twins) and one daughter:
John (1779 - 1844)
Henry (1782 - 1835)
George (1784 - 1847)
Michael (1785 - 1857)
Jacob (1790 - 1868)
Nicholas (1790 - 1862)
Mary (1796 - 1866) married to Henry Smith.
George Blouse paid the Supply and Exoneration tax in Windsor Twp., York County, Pennsylvania, in 1781 and 1782 on 160 acres of land/two horses/three heads of cattle and 150 acres/two horses and two heads of cattle, respectively.
On 18 September 1788, he applied for 150 acres of land in Windsor Township, York County, Pennsylvania, and was granted such land on 8 October 1788 at the rate of £10 per hundred acres.
It appears that George and his wife Mary were of the Lutheran faith. Their twins were baptized in the Canadochly Lutheran Church in Windsor Township, York County, Pennsylvania. They were sponsors of a child’s baptism in St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Chanceford Township, York County, Pennsylvania.
George Blouse's Last Will and Testament is recorded in York County, Pennsylvania, on 25 February 1825 in volume P, pages 223 and 224. He names his son, Michael, and son-in-law Henry Smith, executors, and makes provisions for his wife, Mary, and all his children.
The census and tax records indicate that George and Mary lived in Windsor Township until their deaths on 16 November 1826 and 11 February 1832, respectively. Mary Magdalena (his wife) is buried in the Freysville Cemetery in Freysville, York County, Pennsylvania.

Send a biographical sketch of your patriot!
Patriot biographies must be the original work of the author, and work submitted must not belong to another person or group, in observance with copyright law. Patriot biographies are to be written in complete sentences, follow the established rules of grammar, syntax and punctuation, be free of typographical errors, and follow a narrative format. The narrative should unfold in a logical manner (e.g. the narrative does not jump from time period to time period) or have repeated digressions, or tell the history of the patriot's line from the patriot ancestor to the author. The thinking here is that this is a patriot biography, not a lineage report or a kinship determination project or other report published in a genealogy journal. The biography should discuss the qualifying service (military, patriotic, civil) of the patriot ancestor, where the service was rendered, whether this was a specific state or Continental service, as well as significant events (as determined by the author) of the patriot's life. This is the entire purpose of a patriot's biography.
