Author: Doyle E. Campbell
Richard Berry was born about 1742 and died on 27 Nov 1812, aged 70.

He is identified as a Patriot on a marker near his grave.

Burial: Goshen Cemetery, Belmont, Gaston County, North Carolina, USA His primary marker is a tall standing tombstone with ornamental engraving on curved top and bronze marker in Section 2-C.
