David Berry was born abt May 18, 1741, in Monmouth Co, NJ. He was the son of John Berry and Elizabeth Lefletrau. He married Mary (possibly Herdman). He had six children: Johanna, John, David, Susanna, George H., and Phoebe. He died aft 1794 in Rockingham Co, VA. His patriotic service included PS - Furnished supplies in VA in Rockingham Co, VA in supplying bullock to the VA troops before Sep 1782 when he was paid and as Civil Service for being overseer of road in May 1783.
