Qualifying Service Description:
  1. 1777-1779, served as a Private in the company of Captain Luke Day, commanded by Lieutenant-Colonel John Brooks (later Colonel Ichabod Alden) of the Massachusetts Line
  2. 1780, Corporal in the company of Captain Luke Day, commanded by Lieutenant-Colonel John Brooks
  3. 1781-1782, served in the light infantry company of Captain William White (later Captain Asa Coburn), commanded by Lieutenant-Colonel John Brooks
  4. 1782-1783, served as a Sergeant in a Light Infantry company, commanded by Lieutenant-Colonel John Brooks
  5. Wounded in the Battle of Cobleskill
