There is a DAR patriot plaque beside the gravestone.and the lettering is very legible



Directions to Cemetery / Gravesite:
  • Follow East Main St. (State Highway 221) northeast out of Marathon
  • Turn left (north) on U.S. Highway 81 for approximately one mile
  • Turn right on Galatia Street and proceed north about .5 miles
  • The cemetery is located at the intersection of Albro Road (to the left) with Galatia Street
