John Bagby Jr was born 25 May 1761 in Louisa Co, VA. He was the son of John Bagby Sr and Theodosia Morris. He married Matilda Davis (19 Nov 1772-12 Feb 1856). He had Elvira b. 1793, Landon b. 1795, Roderick b. 1798, Walter b. 1801, Richard b. 1802, Nancy b. 1805, William b. 1808, Theodosia Morris b. 1810, Charles Davis b 1813. He died 17 Nov 1834 in Goodnight, KY. His service was as a Sergeant in Capt. Barrett's Comp. Louisa Co, VA Mil from 1778 to 1781 (BLW #10263-160-55).
