George Howard Aydelott, son of John Aydelott and Mary Howard, was born 26 Mar 1740 in Sussex County, DE. He married Christian Brittingham on 8 Jan 1770.
In 1779-80 he served as a private in Capt Josiah Dale’s Co of the Worcester County MD Militia. He also supplied corn for the Worcester County military on 10 Jul 1780.
George was taxed in Baltimore Hundred, DE as Howard Aydelott in 1788 and 1796.
George died on 19 Sep 1803 in Nelson County, KY. In his will dated 15 May 1803, he named his wife Christian Brittingham and sons Zadock, Joshua, John, and Benjamin; and daughters Ann Reed and Elizabeth Baird.
