Michael Ault - ACN57307
Michael Ault was born about 1735 in Germany. He embarked from Rotterdam, Holland on the ship "Janet" and arrived in Philadelphia, PA where he took an oath of allegiance on October 7, 1751 when he was about 16 years old. He married Mary ____ about 1755 in Pennsylvania. Michael Ault served as a Private in the Northumberland County, PA Militia under Captain Jonathan Sneider. After the Revolution he was in the 1790 Census living in Northumberland County, PA. Michael Ault and his family moved to Tennessee about 1794. He died before April 1827 in Knox County, TN (the date his will was probated). He is buried in the Macedonia United Methodist Church Cemetery in Knox County, TN.
