Author: Christos Christou, Jr.

William Anderson was born about 1718 in Scotland. He was probably the son of John and Margaret Anderson. He married Hannah [surname unknown], who she died in 1743. After Hannah died William married a second time to Elizabeth Campbell.

During the American Revolution, he furnished supplies in Augusta Co, Virginia, and supplied horses for Virginia Troops in 1782.

He had ten children:

  4. Rebecca
  5. Elizabeth
  6. William
  7. George
  8. Robert
  9. Alexander
  10. Jean

William died in about 1794 in Augusta Co, Virginia.
