  • Mordecai Amos was buried following his death after 1835 at his family farm tract located within Marshall County, (then, Virginia) West Virginia. The county seat now, is Moundsville, WV and the county serves as the southern border of the state along the Mason-Dixon line. His will dated 8 Nov 1835 is recorded at Marshall County West Virginia in Will Book 1, pg 6, according to a text compiled by Stephens, C 1992, pgs 564 and 612
