Author: William Earl Amos Jr

Daniel Amos was probably born in Virginia. He married Orpah Cooper before 1775, probably in Wake County, North Carolina. She died after 1830 in Roane County, Tennessee. They were the parents of William Amos, who was born about 1778 in Virginia and married Elizabeth (---). She was born about 1790 in Virginia and died before April 1856 in Roane County, Tennessee. He died sometime after 1830 in Roane County, Tennessee. His service was as a North Carolina Militia under Colonel John Hinton.
